As I’m now back in to running I thought I’d try an experiment over the next few weeks to check my performance. Now it’s not very scientific as people rarely run at the same pace consistently, unless you are an elite runner, of which I’m not.
I’m going to try a handful of energy bars, both pre and post run and see if there is any increase in my performance. I’ve been to the nearest health store and stocked up, so I’m ready to go.
I shall continue my normal daily diet, so hopefully that would not impact my results. The few things that are likely to make a difference are, weather, training and of course a seven month beautiful girl waking up at 3am.
Let’s see how it goes…
